Marco is an experienced M&A and corporate finance professional who had served as Head of M&A at Swiss Ventures Group (SWVG) since May 2022. Prior to joining SWVG, he was a Director at CFM Partners, a M&A and corporate finance boutique in Zurich, where he advised on numerous national and international corporate finance projects and M&A transactions. He holds an MSc in Banking & Finance from Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

Elodie is a Mangager at BV4 that she joined in November 2022. She is project lead for transaction advisory. Prior to joining the company, Elodie gained experience in project management, strategy and transaction advisory (due diligence, carve-out and integration) in the reinsurance, pharmaceutical and private equity industries. During that time she developed a keen interest in FinTechs and MedTechs. She has a consultancy background and holds a Msc in Finance from Audencia Business School. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, fast-paced cars and playing badminton.

Michel Schmid works as a Senior Analyst at BV4 since October 2022. In his role, he supports a wide range of tasks, including startup assessments, valuations and fundraising support. He studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen. Prior to his new role at BV4, he gained experience in both startups and a venture capital firm focused on growth investments. On his journey so far, he has deepened his knowledge of the fundraising process in various industries. In particular, he was able to gain insights into MedTech/Health care, engineering and digital startups.

Before joining BV4 in spring 2019, Peter spent more than 20 years in management consulting. First at his own company and later at big firms like KPMG and Accenture. During that time, he worked for Private Equity funds and gained experience in a variety of industries such as life sciences, automotive and financial services. His first visit to the Silicon Valley was a turning point in his career. Soon after that, Peter joined BV4 and became an enthusiastic advisor to startup founders, investors and corporations. Most of his work is focused on startup scouting and venture transactions.

David is an Analyst at BV4 since March 2025. Before joining BV4, he gained professional experience in investment management and at a software-based hospitality startup in Berlin. He earned his bachelor’s in Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen, where he also pursued his master’s in Accounting and Finance. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, traveling as well as doing all kinds of sports, including fitness, golf, and padel.
